Pretty decent prof, workload is manageable. The quizzes are also simple as long as you pay attention in lectures.

The course is tough but fair. Do assignments, practice tests, and go to class. If you do this, you will be in good shape.

Bates made this course a lot more difficult than it needed to be. Most of the stuff he showed us in class wasn't even related to the course, making it very hard to understand what was expected of us on the exams. Do a lot of practice questions and try to go to a different lecture if you can.

Laflamme is one of the best. You can tell he is passionate about mathematics while he is lecturing and he very much cares about his students' success. He gives assignments and practice tests to help show what he expects on exams as well.
