very nice guy, darn funny without even trying. explains the course material well and makes it interesting. he does have a tendency to downplay the importance of math/derivations but hey, this IS an introductory course. can't believe i used to be his "neighbor" in the UK (caius/trinity hall). brings back bad memories...

You can tell he wants to teach you, but he doesn\'t seem to know how. He very frequently changes notations and the names for variables. He assumes you have a very abstract and thorough understanding of mathematics.

He's such a funny/interesting guy! I never really liked physics but he made it my favorite class.

YES! This guy rocks! He's the schmit!

Great guy, tries to keep a boring course interesting.

Tries but does not know how to teach... Really smart, but overall bad teacher

Very helpful professor and was extremely insightful. Really seems interested in teaching and was verty helpful with problems. Definately see to it that you have him as a prof at least once.

STAY AWAY! Every 2-3 weeks he would disappear on some trip and would have random profs fill in for him. You need a HEAVY math background to make it anywhere in this course and his method of presenting things is less than clear if you are not perfectly solid on all things calculus. Exams and assignments are extremely hard.

Worst professor in the department. Thinks she is still cracking the whip in the military somewhere. Will not teach you anything.
