Ineffective at "managing" the so-called construction management program. *** Always *** on vacation at times when students most likely to need assistance. Works damaging gossip behind backs of students.
Sort of funny, but his jokes are lame.Very intellectual, loves to connect theories with his own experiences. Sometimes he drags some concepts and ALWAYS repeats things which are really important. Overall he's a good teacher, plus Midterm and Final were fair. Just read his notes.
Rick is awesome, super laid back and has a ton of life experience. He keeps everything very simple and practical and loves hands on learning. I did well in both classes with him just by following instructions -- rarely used texts or readings.
Honestly, if you can't get a B or higher in this class there is something wrong. Very easy to understand if you go to class. Also, his life lessons are priceless. Great teacher, anyone who complains is weak. Old school style, best way to learn.
he knows hes stuff. this a good course for ppl that likes teamwork and presentations. about 46% of ur grade depends on ur teammembers, they will also grade u!! midterm and final VERY EASY as long as u read the book(dont have to crazily memeorize everything) and lectures. the avg for midterm was 85% shine in ur group and leave good impressions!
I only needed to go to my tutorials and the review classes before midterm and final and still got an A-. Most of his slides were unnecessary, just read the TB pages assigned. The term paper was ridiculously easy, and the midterms are fair but you better know your stuff because there's no time to think.
The prof tried to talk to people in the class but the class was so painfully boring that nobody ever had anything to say. I don't think it was his fault that the material was so dry. He had some great guest lecturers. The final was fairly easy. You should print out his power point slides because everything you need to know is on the slides.
