As a lawyer, she brings alot of her work experience into the class materials. Even though her notes can be pretty long, a lot of them are priceless advice. In hindsight, she\'s is one of the best professors in the Justice Department. She also makes an effort in helping each student become better writers.

This is what university is all about. Very difficult, but I have never learned more in my life. Brilliant woman, brilliant professor. Inspiring. Makes you want to change the world. High textbook use, no exams, all essays and participation marks. Not for people that hate reading a lot and hate writing. She is happy to help outside of class as well.

Somewhat disorganized especially at the beginning. Lot\'s of paper work, long assignments. Rely on others on discussion boards for help. They get back to you quicker then prof. She was a fair marker, and I found knowledgable when she did respond to emails. I would take another on-line class with her.

She is very informed on social issues and raised a number of intriguing ideas in class. Although, it would have been better if she her powerpoints and readings were shorter.

To me, Margot and is among the best professors at U of R. She has amples of field experience and makes an effort to impart as much relevant information to students as possible. If your goal is to learn as much as possible, Margot is your best bet because her lectures are packed with insights, engaging activities, and guest speakers.

Usually if you had 2 midterms there would not be a comprehensive final. I studied an entire semesters work to see the final focused almost entirely on the past 3 lec
