He is a funny guy, so that really helps. He just gets your really interested in what he\'s saying and he definitely knows what he\'s talking about! he\'s always willing to answer any questions you\'ve got, even if it doesn\'t pertain to the class!! I\'ll be taking more of his classes for sure! Great prof!

All the previous raters are a bunch of idiots and utter morons!!!!......This is one of the best profs and more importantly one the finest human beings you\'ll ever meet. Too bad for all these suckers that not all profs are white guys named \'Bob\'!

Sucked, extremely hard to follow, and boring. Not helpful at all, and marked extremely hard on the paper. Would never recommend and would never take the class again.

Enthusiastic and helpful. Word of advice, do the homework he assigns you whether it is due or not. It will greatly help when your midterm and final arrives.

Great Person. Great Professor. Very interesting lecturer. Always willing to help; very approachable. Made history exciting. Wish him best of luck. If you get a chance, take his courses, Ryerson or U of T, he is one of the best Professors ever.

Interesting material, but tough marker.

LOVE this professor. He is extremely knowledgeable, very approachable, and a fair marker. He was able to effectively teach the material. Everything was crystal clear. He is one of the best history profs in the department. Take his seminars, they will rock your world.

A nice person, teaches well with an excellent understanding of material. Never seen him get mad or disappointed. If your not into histories or religion, you\'ll be bored, can\'t do anything about it but generally a good marker. Not at all easy but critiques well and gives you the mark you deserve.

Philips is an amazing professor. He is funny, charismatic, understandable and an awesome lecturer. He is always in a great mood and really likes to help students any way that he can. Plus, he has a great smile and addictive laugh. I definitely recommend!
