To be honest, I only had him for a week as a substitute, but let me tell you - this man is sweet as pie. I love the chair-climbing antics, the blinky eyes, the general physicality is just so interesting. Too cute, and incredibly bright. He\'s a self-avowed slow thinker, which makes him in turn very gracious toward kids in his tutorial.
An awesome prof. Completely approachable, helpful and insightful. Taught fun and compelling texts while providing wonderful examples to support and illuminate them. Cannot understand the negative comments; he\'s far too good to deserve any.
Enthusiastic and brilliant.
I only appreciated Bruce in my final year and after I graduated. Great guy, great journalist, enjoyed his classes thoroughly, even if they caused me no end of nervous anxiety. I miss his radio workshop
Absolutely fascinating. Engaging and entertaining. Attending lecture is like watching a one man comedic performance.
Smartest person I have ever encountered. Not to mention funny and lovely.
I did NOT expect to like this class, but this prof was AMAZING. Kept things so interesting and current. His clear teaching style was the reason I achieved such a high grade in this class and I am not usually an A student.
Great, approchable guy. He deffinatly lets the students direct the tutorials and get what they need out of them. He\'s so smart to, always going off about the Greek or Latin roots and giving full etomologies from memory, awsome guy!
Swick\'s class is the best Journalism class I\'ve taken. He\'s so clear and helpful, he always inspires great discussion. He also really listens to you. He\'s always around to help, and he inspired me to work really hard in his class. His marking is kind of random, though. Very interesting man with an established career- everyone can learn from him.
great guy. super friendly.
