An amazing course. Especially when taught by Dr. Blaize Reich. The course contains a numerous amount of vocabulary/technical terms, but aside from that it is relatively easy to grasp the concepts!

Dai Heide was a really good prof!

Great course. Loved it especially the tutorial discussions. Assignments are fun and creative. It's nearly impossible to get anything less than a B in this course if you complete assignments, attend lectures, and participate in tutorials.

In addition to the broad consideration of ‘the State’ and ‘the Law,’ this course considers the relation between social structure and law, violence and the law, and politics and the law, looking towards an understanding of the shifting relation between the law and other forms of social and political regulation.

Very interesting material, but be prepared to work hard to know all of it!
