Description: This course introduces the learner to the evolution of practical nursing as a health profession within the health care system. It focuses on the legal, ethical, philosophical basis for practice. The PN role, interdisciplinary team, partnership, delegation, reporting and documenting are discussed. This course also explores reflective writing, practice and critical thinking skills.

Prerequisites: Oral Health Care for Individuals 2
