The best school in Canada for engineering. Probably the best Co-Op program. Tough to get in = serious students and great network. Lots of recruiters recruit from UWaterloo. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Waterloo, SFU, and Guleph are usually the top 3 schools according to McLeans magazine (not that it matters:) I think it's the best school for engineering. Lots of courses. And lots of top tech companies come here to recruit. Great brand on your resume for post grad. Tough to get in. But so worth it. Good community as well. And close to other schools for a little cross school socializing.
