Description: This 28 hour course prepares the Practical Nursing Student to accurately and safely use numerical skills in the administration of nursing care and to provide the student with basic theoretical foundation in pharmacology for safe, accurate and effective clinical application of drug therapy through the nursing process. The student is introduced to the language of pharmacology, major drug classifications and some individual drugs in frequent use.
