Description: Individual students or small groups of students may conduct readings under a faculty member's supervision in one or two selected areas. Students are encouraged to approach a faculty member and ask for the faculty member's assistance in identifying reading areas. Students wishing to then enroll in a directed reading course must submit a detailed learning contract (approved by the faculty supervisor) to the Director of the Graduate Program in Integrated Studies.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of MAIS 601 and MAIS 602, and permission of the Program Director for Integrated Studies. A copy of the learning contract must be filed with the MAIS Program Office.
