I am in my 5th year of studies now, and I can honestly say that Ali was one of the best instructors I have ever had. She created a warm learning environment that was pleasant and very interesting. She\'s the best!

Al Gray is by far one of the best Professors I have ever had. He starts the semester with a hard shell and you can not miss a single class for your, and your partners own good. Under that hard exterior is a softy. Retired RCMP member so he knows what he\'s talking about, tells stories at the beginning of class be prepared to do some serious work

AWESOME!! If you have this prof, you hit gold..Talked about issues no other profs would dare discuss.. Attending class IS important..don't be intimidated by the textbook (use less then half)..lots of papers, but he will revise them for you BEFORE you hand them in and give you TONS of feedback..can't say enough..fascinating..you will love him.

Dr. Hall is a very intelligent person and extremely informative. His course readings were appropriate, and I completely disagree that for a second year class it was too much work. He challenged our intellectual abilities. p.s. that is not true, and you are ignorant for saying that.

Great professor! Very very knowledgeable as he has had many years in the criminal justice system. Very helpful and understanding. His class is not the easiest class, but as long as you pay attention in class and take notes, it is not hard at all. This class is very useful for anyone wanting a career in the criminal justice system.

He\'s a great teacher, without a doubt. His lectures are informative and entertaining and he\'s a really nice guy. However, it\'s extremely difficult to get a good mark in his classes as he gives you very little guidance as to what he expects for papers and essays. This is true for the TAs as well.

Alana is extremely helpful. She gives students a lot of hints on future career options, lots of speakers from the criminal justice department. Highly recommended! P.S. just memorize her notes.

She\'s very straight forward. Doesn\'t use the textbook. Focus is more on her slides. YOU MUST attend her lectures in order to do well. She uses examples from her lectures for the midterm and final. Hard marker. If you don\'t agree with her thinking you\'ll get a low mark.

had her for both 392 hate crime and 385 gender and crime... interesting, nice to talk to, and good assignments
