He's a good and clear professor. His jokes are funny. Sometimes aplia (the online program he uses) sometimes goes ahead of the lecture, which makes it hard to complete the online homework before the due date. Overall, a easy and enjoyable class.

Good teacher, but taught from text slides. Had great guest speakers and realy was into what he taught.

Recommend! Easy but a lot of reading is assigned.

Maybe this just isn't his cup of tea. He read the powerpoint slides included with the textbook to us and didn't seem to understand them, contradicted himself frequently, and left us to fend for ourselves when learning LISP and Prolog. Cannot recommend and don't think he has any business teaching this course.

The class is tough, but it should be tough. There are a lot of concepts that need a lot of time and practice to fully understand. Dr. Styles takes the time to provide a lot of extra material online to supplement the book and lectures to help students as much as possible. If you give this class the time and respect it deserves, you will do fine.

He is extremely helpful. Doens't give alot of info about art, but is good with applications and is patient.

really intelligent man. knows his stuff and is funny. class lectures can get a little boring but besides that the class was great! he is helpful in office hours and cares about his students. highly recommended. oh and sexy accent!
