So far life in this school is pretty isolating, and most students are not open to making new friends.

Marking at UofT is very harsh, that helps you have thick skin and learn how to deal with failure and hardship (especially academic hardship) but it's also very stressful and sometimes almost depressing. Uoft needs mentally strong students to withstand the pressure from professors, and competition! It's a university with a great reputation and looks good on your resume for sure though..

The Scarborough campus is very poor in quality. The classrooms are dull and so are the professors.

It's exciting to be at the heart of it all - in Toronto. Being from the west coast it was a great experience, and I would do it over again. Great school, coures, and community.

Canada's largest school. The Toronto campus is in the heart of downtown, close to everything you need (or don't need:), good transit system, lots of aparments to be able to live close, great social life, wide range of programs to choose from, good community. Love it here.
